Do you have a question? The Youth Information Point The Hague can help you. We are here for people between the age of 12 and 25 years old, and we are open weekdays from 12 to 5 in the afternoon.

The aim of the Youth Information Point The Hague is to give you information and advice about anything that interests young people, such as work, school, drugs, sexuality, accommodation etc. We can also help you when things aren’t going that well in your life, and you don’t know where to start. An example of questions that you might ask us:

- I am looking for a place to live, but I don’t know how to do that. Can you give me advice?

- Things aren’t going well with my parents, I really need to talk to somebody.

- I need to find a place to do my internship for school, do you have any suggestions?

- I think I might be pregnant, what should I do now?

- I have very high debts, and I don’t know how to pay them all. Help!

- I want to go on the pill, but my parents can’t find out, is that possible?

We also have two specific consulting hours.

The first is the consulting hour for Teenage and Young Mothers. Girls up to the age of 23, who are (going to be) a mother, can get advice and help with all kinds of things, such as housing for themselves and their children, advice about daycare, advice about study or work, money/income etc.

The Teenage and Young Mothers consultants are social workers from the MOOI Foundation. Please call in advance to make an appointment.

The second consulting hour is our Sexuality Aid consulting hour. Here you can ask any and all questions about sexuality, such as how to use a condom, or how to say ‘no’ when you don’t want to have sex yet. You can also do a free pregnancy test, and get the pill and the morning-after-pill for free. The Sexuality consultants are nurses from the Rutgershuis.
